Earlier this year I purchased Caroline Hiron’s first colab beauty box with Cult Beauty which had a bevy of new products and brands in I had never tried or herd of before, but as this was from the queen of skincare I happily took the plunge and it went ‘straight in my basket.’ One of these said products was Alpha H’s Liquid gold. Now I’m ridiculously late to the ‘liquid exfoliant’ band wagon but this stuff packed a good punch, whisking away dead skin and helping unblock my pores particularly around my chin/ mouth area. It also gave me a lot brighter and smother complexion without being too harsh or making me sore or sensitive. Its brill stuff, I highly recommend it and I savored every last drop.
Once I finished that *A particularly sad day* I wanted to try some of the other products from the ‘Liquid Gold Family’ and duly purchased the Liquid Gold Intensive Night Repair Serum *Long name alert*
This is a gold gelly like serum I use once or twice a week, 1 pump is ample for the whole face and it acts in a very similar vein as its liquid brother but slightly gentler as it’s an overnight serum. I apply this to freshly cleansed skin before moisturiser/ oils and then go to bed… *dream about winning the lottery and finding that perfect foundation* and then awake to velvet soft skin… I kid you not this makes my skin feel LUSH.
Just like its liquid brother this serum brightened & evened my complexion by gently exfoliating but also made my skin feel so smooth and soft *better than any crappy babies skin* and didn’t insight sensitivity or redness on my skin at all.
Cult Beauty explain it better, They say: From skin care wizards Alpha-H, Liquid Gold Intensive Night Serum tackles all the primary signs of skin ageing. It helps unify skin tone by neutralising discolouration caused by sun exposure/Rosacea; replenishes collagen levels for increased firmness and fewer fine lines and wrinkles; gently resurfaces to banish dullness and minimise the appearance of pores/scarring while natural fruit acids alongside Vitamins A, E and Sodium Hyaluronate help hydrate and strengthen the Elastin fibres to keep skin looking younger and healthier for longer.
So it’s packed full of all the good stuff! A pricey little bugger at £51 but It lasts for ages and you only need a teeny amount but will fow shore be a staple in my routine from now on! 100! Ima Loves it… 😉
