Newly Formulated Chanel Le Vernis Nail Polish and Le Top Coat *Review*

P1020352I recently raved about the Nails Inc Gel One Coat Polishes here and mentioned I was planning on picking up one of Chanel’s newly formulated Le Vernis polishes. Sooo when I found myself in John Lewis the other day I did a little cheeky purchase *as ya do* and picked up No 516 Marinere, a deep inky blue. I asked for the gel top coat too but when I got home I noticed I had been given the Quick Dry and Shine Top Coat instead *I hate it when this happens, you buy something and then realise you’ve picked up the wrong one or you’ve been given a different product or shade* but as I live in ‘da country’ and my closest John Lewis is a 30 minuet drive I thought I’d just use it and then curse the lady who served me while doing so.. but IM SO GLAD I DID *and im sorry for cursing your name John Lewis Lady.* Firstly this top coat really does dry your nails quickly, I’m a crapper for smudging my nails, so I paint them last thing at night in bed so I don’t have to move *because I’m not adult enough to do it any other way LOLS* it also gave my nails SUPER shine! Which I adore! But the real winner is the polish itself. I’ve had this on for 6 days now and still no chipping! They’ve started to wear at the very tips *mainly because my nails get a HAMMERING on the keyboard* but other than this they’re still intacked! VERY impressed! I will for sure be picking up some other colors and I have my eye on 520 Garconne a grey toned green 🙂 Serious thumbs up to this formula, pricey but worth it!
